My Story

My love for textile design is the fusion of my two greatest passions, fashion & art. It has been an incredible adventure finding my path to textile design. Graduating from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles, I began my career as a women’s fashion designer. From designing bridal couture runway shows to the functional rock climbing apparel - I utilized my broad design versatility for clients such as Luly Yang Couture, Guess Inc, Gramicci, Echo, and Macy’s.

I discovered textile design in New York and worked for Echo and Macy’s. Learning from some of the best I graduated from Macy’s Executive Development Program. I expanded my love for prints at Johnny Was and inspired by their bohemian vibe and specialty embroideries. After Johnny was I tapped into my inner child by freelancing Nojo Baby & kids. With some of my prints being selected for Targets baby muslin blankets. I then transitioned into a technology driven, high end athleisure brand - Ultracor. With hands on learning about sublimation printing, pixelations and bonding. It was incredible to be able to create a look, print, sublimate, bond, and then watch it sewn and ready to ship to a customer by the end of the day. I currently am contracting for Brighton, and creating a variety of products from bags to packaging.

My inspiration comes from the beach and the many facets of art in all its interpretations. I translate my inspiration from idea into tactile products by using multiple mediums from markers, watercolors, acrylic paints and photography.

I’m working on creating new watercolor art for Society6 and Etsy which I will keep you posted when they are live!
